An expansion vessel with a self-venting valve is a hydraulic protection of a water jacketed fireplace. Its task is to compensate for changes in water volume caused by changes in its temperature. The tank is connected to the pipe network and receives water from the c.o. system when its volume rises due to the temperature increase.
The dish is made of stainless steel. It includes: – copper float with valve for automatic replenishment of the water supply system by a water jacketed fireplace or fireplace with a water-cooled water heater; – brass mounting fittings to ensure the tightness of the overflow and expansion pipe connections.
WARNING! Plates with plastic valves that are on the market are unsuitable for working with water-jacketed fireplaces because the high temperature deforms the float.
